| Description |
This project is to modify the existing example demo Racer game coming with Gamestudio (http://www.3dgamestudio.com/). The demo already works, so only the modifications below are needed.
Other game creator are acceptable if it is 3D and looks/works as great.
Here are the required modification:
1. add remote control (ability to control the game from external java program). The method of this is to be determined, as easy as possible. Probably a text based commands e.g. SET FORWARD ON, or SET FORWARD OFF etc.
2. all current controls (keyboard and joystick) are to be disabled, all of that must be possible with remote control.
3. ability to retrieve/set the status of the game (car location, speed, wheel angle etc).
4. ability to set/remove bonus point(s) at any location (small icons/objects floating above the ground, visible but transparent to the moving car)
5. repair the two broken bridges on the terrain :-), so that it is possible to drive the car in a loop without jumping.
6. remove the splash screen and help
Optional additions:
- add more 3D terrains.
- add more car models
- allow to control environment attributes, e.g. brightness, contrast, light, sunshine, fumes etc. The more the better.
Before I accept the winner you MUST provide:
- price estimate
- simple working demo WITH a few good looking bonus points (see #4 above), this is to prove your skills.
- list of any optional (additional) features you will add.
At the end all the project sources must be provided so that I can compile and create the game using the Gamestudio 7.
