Description We need some minor amendments made to our website to fix some bugs.

Website: frontierjapan(dot)com

Problems to be fixed (1 & 2 are the main ones):

1. Text appears blurry: this may be because the flash file resizes to fit screen - see note "A" below.

2. Page does not display correctly on all screens - a few millimeters get cut off around the edges on small screens - see note "B" below.

3. Our search engine results look odd - we would like to improve this - see note "C" below.

4. File names and metatags need changing/inserting - see note "D" below.

We would be grateful if you take a quick look at our website and let us know what you can do to help and how much you can do it for. We have had some pretty challenging experiences with freelancers found via the internet (not this site though) and we are keen to get this one right as cost and time efficiently as possible - ideally within a budget of $50-$100. If you can help us with this we would like to work with you again on upcoming projects.

Many thanks!

:: NOTES ::

A. Blurry text / Screen resizing:
The flash file at the moment resizes to fit screen, but only down to a certain point, after which the edges start to get cut off, without any ability to scroll. We like the idea of the resizing effect but if it is causing the blurry text it is a problem. Also, there needs to be a way for people whose screens are too small to view the smallest version of the site to scroll to read the sections that do not fit on their screens. We do not want to fix the site so that it resizes infinitely, since this will mean that people with small screens cannot read it (text will be too small). So basically, we just want a site that looks good and works for everyone.

B. Cut-off screens:
I have attached some screenshots from screens that are unable to view the site correctly (one of them is strangely compressed and monotone but you should get the idea which parts are being chopped off). Both screens are 1024 x 768 res. The coloured one is from a 15inch screen and I think the monotone one is from a 10(?) inch screen.

C. Search engine results:
The search engines seem to be using some really updated descriptions of our company. We think this is coming from dmoz and have requested an update, but if it may be coming from somewhere else we will need to change that too. The other issue though is that the second search result for google seems to be an excerpt from our website. Since our site is all flash though, it is picking up some weird things, like the first few lines of our links page (the least important page in the whole site), the name of the .swf file, and our contact email address (which we would like to keep secret if possible anyway). We feel this looks a bit unprofesssional. The only thing we can think of to do is to discretely add a short sentence of html text into the main page of our website somehow - we would not want it to disrupt the overall look and feel of our site though. The hope here is that google etc may trawl that text instead of all the irrelevant stuff it is picking up at the moment.

D. file names / metatags:
The name of the .swf file at the moment is something like "newSMALL". We would like this to be something more like "marketing-consultant". If there are any other file names that are likely to pop up on the search engines we would like to change these to something similar. We would then like to add some very simple metatags to the 2 html pages that constitute our website.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, we appreciate your interest.
