What do I want?
I need a function/script that will read 5000(+) RSS/XML/Atom feeds from a database on myslq, sort the posts and automatically update a recently published list 24-7. PHP programming, AJAX display perhaps?
What its for?
It is for a blog directory. Bloggers are manually pinging and updating a list right now. I'd like it to be based on actual updates on their blogs instead of manual pings.
I've tried PHP scripts that are out there. However, they time out since I'm reading hundreds of feeds. I also tried google reader but it has trouble reading so many feeds as well. |
